I wish to advise everyone that FaithsLittleAngels has transitioned from my father, due to health reasons, to me, and I intend to continue the business with the same quality as always.  I have downsized significantly this  year but will continue to provide the same quality puppies as we always have.  I just wish to ensure that the same care is given as my father and I provided, so therefore, I have downsized and transitioned more to a hobby breeder, to continue that tradition.  I have worked with my dad since he created the business in 2011.  

My name is Nick Melton and my mom is Kathy.  She sometimes helps with phone calls etc...when I am not available.  I am a home breeder of beautiful AKC registered Shih Tzu puppies. I will occasionally have a litter of Shichon(Teddybear),  Mal Shi,  Bichpoo, and Shihpoo.   My dogs and puppies are NEVER put in cages unless it is a trip to the vet.   It is my hope that all of my pups go to loving homes and I strive to ensure they go to homes where they will be part of a family.

It is my policy not to sell to breeders. I spend a tremendous amount of time with all of my dogs and puppies in order for them to be well adjusted and social and never want to see any of them treated inhumanely. Therefore, I do not sell to large breeders! If you are a small, in-home breeder like myself, I would certainly be willing to discuss a puppy, but I want all my pups to go to loving homes where they will be pampered and loved.

I do believe that breeding too small causes health problems with some and if I think a puppy will be too small to breed, I will put a limited registration on her. My largest Shih Tzu adult weighs between 8 and 10 pounds. Most of my adults weight between 5 and 8 pounds.

Please do your research when buying a puppy. I encourage potential buyers to come and visit if you are within driving distance. If a breeder does not want you coming to their home, they have something to hide. Yes, you can find cheaper puppies elsewhere but please, be very careful that you are not buying from a puppy mill....cheaper puppies are out there but, keep in mind that puppy mills can afford to sell them cheaper because they mass produce them. A cheaper puppy is not necessarily a puppy mill puppy but, again, please do your research on the breeder.

All puppies are given a Veterinarian checkup/exam and provided with a health certificate before leaving for their new homes. All are microchipped.  All puppies come with a health guarantee. All will have dew claws removed, de-wormed, and UTD on all vaccinations. If the puppy is a poodle or poodle mix, tails are docked.  All puppies will come with a health record as well for their new vet and a puppy kit with small bag of quality puppy food.  The small breeds will also come with a little blanket with mom and sibling's scent to help with the new environment, a washable puppy pad, and a small toy. A $250 deposit will hold a puppy until they are ready for their forever homes.
